Volume 14, part 2 lacks engraved title page, but has volume and part numbers on signature line.

Volume 8: Publication date on engraved title page: 1812; on letterpress title page: 1811. Volume 13: Publication date on engraved title page: 1825; on letterpress title page: 1826.

Volumes 1-8 by George Shaw; v. 9-14 by James Francis Stephens under the editorship of William Elford Leach.

The plates to v. 1-5 engraved by Mr. Heath (i.e. James Heath?), v. 6 jointly by Mr. Heath and Mrs. Griffith, v. 7-14 by Mrs. Griffith (title page for v. 9 has: Mrs. Griffiths). Nissen identifies engraver as Moses Griffith (1747-1819).

Each volume is in two parts, each with an engraved title page (except for v. 14, pt. 2) and an additional letterpress title page; the pagination and registers of second parts continue those of first parts, apart from v. 12-14, whose second parts have separate pagination and registers.
