Edition Notes

Title devised by Library staff from item.

"The great work of the Hampton Institute is to furnish Teachers for the Colored Schools in the South. Positions are waiting for four times as many of these teachers as the school can send out, and it must be remembered that they cease at once to depend upon Northern philanthropy, and immediately receive salaries from the Southern State Governments, which are glad to pay for their services."

In: American theater programs of the late 19th and 20th centuries (Library of Congress).
