Washington Theater. Lessee Mr. S.W. Glenn, acting manager Mr. J.T. Raymond, stage manager Mr. Humphrey Bland ... Friday. Benefit and last appearance but one of Mr. Joseph Jefferson who will appear as Caleb Plummer as acted by him over 100 nights at the Winter Garden, N.Y., with the greatest success, and also, as Tobias Shortcut. To-morrow night will positively be the last of Mr. Jefferson's engagement, as he appears in Baltimore on Monday next ... On Friday, January 25, 1861 the entertainments will commence with a domestic drama, in 3 acts, entitled, "Caleb Plummer" dramatized from Dickens' Christmas Story of "The Cricket on the Hearth" ... To conclude with the roaring farce of "The Spitfire" ... To-morrow, last night of Mr. Jefferson. On Monday, a new play called "Suspense" and first night of the celebrated comedian, Mr. Sothern ...
