"The inmost opening of the last quire has an irregular number of lines, indicating setting per forme. The standard was 24 lines per page (BMC, Polain). Three issues can be distinguished: (A) in 8vo, with a colophon naming Bartholmaeus Campanus Ponticuruanus, who was a press-reader. Opening k3v-k 4r [i.e. [10]3 verso-[10]4 recto] has 17 and 16 lines to the page (BMC, Hain, Polain (B) 2645). (B) in 4to, with a colophon naming the printers. Opening k3v-k4r [i.e. [10]3 verso-[10]4 recto] as in state A. (C) in 4to, with a colophon as in state B, leaves k3v-k4r [i.e. [10]3 verso-[10]4 recto] reset (Polain (B) 2645A, CIBN M-244, variante C)"--ISTC.

Four capital spaces.

LC copy has Bartholomaeus Campanus Ponticuruanus named in the colophon (state A); the verse in the colophon's second line reads "In loquor hebreos perfidiasque suas." Gatherings [10]3 verso and [10]4 recto are reset (i.e. state C). Opening page decorated in gold and colors, with a coat of arms.
