An Epic Myth of the Lahu People in Yunnan translated from a Chinese version of the original Lahu by Liu Huiha and orally translated in English by Shi Kun. To assist the reader in appreciating the details of the myth, the editor provides an ethnographic introduction to the Lahu people and their way of life. This is the first time that a major English-language translation of the Lahu myth of creation has been published in English.
