Facing the Greek text and the English translation of "To Selene" are blind embossing of the crescent mooon. The eight poems are paired with duotone lithographs of star fields printed in indigo blue and black. Centerfold contains a hand drawn image of the lunar landscape, printed in two colors on black mould-made English Somerset paper.
Limited ed. of 45 copies signed and numbered by the artist, 8 poets' copies numbered I-VIII, and 10 artist's proofs printed during the summer and autumn of 2006.
Lithographs were hand-pulled by Timothy P. Sheesley, Corridor Press, Otego, New York. Arthur Larson, Horton Tank Graphics, Hadley, Massachusetts, printed the letterpress. Dante, Gill Sans and Gill Sans Greek types were cast at Golgonooza Letter Foundry, Ashuelot, New Hampshire by Dan Carr and Julia Ferrari. Calligraphy by Jerry Kelly, New York City. Marbled papers by Regina St. John, Amherst, Massachusetts. Edition hand bound by David Bourbeau, Thistle Bindery, Florence, Massachusetts, Barbara B. Blumenthal, Northampton, Massachusetts, and Daniel Gehnrich, Paxton, Massachusetts.
