A little boy, who believes that fairies and goblins are strictly creatures of fantasy, gets taken on a "Believing Voyage" by a hobgoblin. The First edition of this book has an 1886 date on the title page. This First edition has two issues, the first of which has "Korea" misspelled as "Corea" (in several places) in the last paragraph of page "xi" in the ads that follow the text. See entry in "Peter Parley to Penrod". Some later printings by Ticknor have no title page date, and still later printings were done by Houghton Mifflin who got the rights after a Ticknor Bankruptcy.
