This book is a personal account of Miguna Miguna during his days as a Law student at Osgoode, a Canadian University. The author describes the book as 'Written in intense anger and revolutionary action, about exile, racism, alienation, oppression and miseducation at their extreme.
The author is one of the Kenyans who fled into exile during the one-party State dictatorship of former president Moi in the 1980's. He had been an active student leader at the University of Nairobi, a bedrock of opposition politics in those dark days for democracy in Kenya. Miguna is now back in Kenya, recognised as a leading political pundit. He has just lost his his job as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Coalitionm Affrairs, due to the abrasive style of the articles he penned inthe Kenyan media about topical issues.
