"Popular edition documents historic evolution and architectural development of Alta Gracia in the prov. of Córdoba from Spanish colonial period to the present. Highlights important role played by the Jesuit order in the construction and management of the original Spanish colonial estancia, which served as nucleus to the town, as a critical factor in the subsequent growth of the town as a regional agricultural center. Visual documentation, including plans and b/w photographs, was not reproduced well due to the poor quality of the paper"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
