Includes a fragment from the end of a private letter on papyrus, 1st cent. B.C.; travel memorabilia, among which are tickets, invitations, club passes, and photographs; pen-and-ink sketches and etchings by Batchelder, and a zinc plate from which one of the etchings was printed; letters to Batchelder. The bulk of Batchelder's papers are in the custody of LC's Manuscript Division; his photographs and prints, in LC's Prints and Photographs Division.
