Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, many with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
Poems within decorative borders reproduced on coarse brown and gray papers. Illustrations and hand-lettered titles reproduced on bond and tissue papers in various shades of green.
Text is bound in two halves dos à dos, with green ribbon marking each cover. Covers are mounted with red handmade paper produced at Ediciones Vigía and decorated with colored paper cutouts, string, and dried verbena flowers.
Pages 19-20 and 21-22 are blank.
