Buck Rogan, a deputy marshal hunting the killer Jed Calder, found the trail leading straight into Hell's Courtyard and went after his man, fighting against long odds, finding every man's hand against him. Calder was murdering at every twist in the trail, and if that was not enough, Rogan had the second part of his mission to handle - to locate the hideout of Jake Yaris, an outlaw running most of the lawlessness directed at Kansas and Arkansas. Rogan faced everything with single-minded determination. His gun was continually in his capable hand, and he fought the bad men to the last desperate shot...
