Jesus asks us to sit down and listen to what he was about to say. Then Jesus said to us, "All of you will be made to stumble because of me this night, for it is written. I will strike the shepherd and the sheep of the flock will be scattered." But, after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee. Well, here I go again, I said to him, "Even if all are made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble." At that point, Jesus looked straight at me and said, " Assuredly I say to you Peter, that this night before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times." I said to him, "Listen, Jesus, even if I have to die with you I will not deny you!" At that point, all of the other disciples agreed with me, wholeheartedly 100%. After that everyone was silent.
