There are variant copies. On the verso of the title page, some copies bear the portrait of St. Augustine, and at the head of the verso of leaf a2, the device of the Augustinians surrounded by the words: Domine cor mevm charitate tva sagitaveras tv." Other copies have a portrait of St. Francis on the verso of the title page and the device at the head of the verso of leaf a2 is surrounded by the words: "Arma militiæ nostræ."
