This work has been identified as the first issue of the first edition of the second section of part eleven by Church. A second issue differs only with the different engraved vignette on title page of a reindeer drawn Samoyed sleigh.
Constitutes the second section of the eleventh part of Sammlung von sechs und zwanzig Schiffahrten in verschiedene fremde Länder durch Levinus Hulsius und einige Andere, aus dem Holländischen ins Deutsche übersetzt und mit allerhand Anmerrkungen versehen, compiled by Levinus Hulsius, and printed in 26 parts in Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Oppenheim, and Hanau from 1598 to 1663.
This part, translated by Gotthardt Arthus, contains an account of the voyage to the East Indies made under the command of Pieter Wilemszoon Verhoeff, until 1612, for the purpose of taking the Moluccas from the Portuguese. Cf. Church.
Continues the first section of part 11 which was printed in Frankfurt am Main in 1612.
A second edition of the second section, was published in 1623.
Pages 69-167 contain sentences in German which have been translated into the Malaysian and Malagasy languages.
