The records of the British and Foreign Bible Society, founded in 1804, indicate that on December 17 of that year it spent over £200 to pay for the printing of 2000 copies of this book; no further editions are recorded by the British and Foreign Bible Society.
Pilling gives erroneous date of publication as 1805.
Text in Mohawk and English on opposite pages numbered in duplicate.
Mohawk version translated by J. Norton, a Cherokee living among the Mohawks from the English King James Version.
