"This proposed oil and gas lease is the third sale for the eastern Gulf of Mexico region. One hundred and sixteen (116) tracts (270,023.99 hectares - 667,229.28 acres) of OCS lands are proposed for leasing action. The tracts are located offshore of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana with distance to shore ranging from approximately 16 to 190 kilometers (10 to 119 statute miles) ...
