Constitutes the fourteenth part, sole issue of the sole German edition of Theodor de Bry's Great voyages, printed in fourteen parts, in Latin, German, French, and English, in Frankfurt am Main, Oppenheim, and Hanau from 1590-1644, and the Elenchus, an outline of the thirteen Latin parts, published by Matthias Merian in Frankfurt am Main in 1634.
This work has been identified as the sole issue of part fourteen of the sole German edition of the Great voyages by Church.

A description of the province of Cinaolo and an account of a voyage made by Francisco de Ulloa to the cost of California. 12. A description of the city of Mexico and of New Spain; no author given. 13. A continuation of the history of Guiana, taken from the True travels of captain John Smith. 14. An account of the naval combat between the Dutch, under the command of Pieter Pietersz. Heyn, and the Spanish at Matanzas in September 1628, in which the silver fleet was captured. 15. An account of the capture of Olinda by the Dutch admiral Hendrick Cornelisz. Lonck, in 1630. [4], 1st count, and p. 1, 2nd count; it also contains two double folded illustrations, and 11 illustrations within the text, two of which were printed in parts prior to the first and second issues of German part thirteen and the sole issue of Latin part thirteen.
