On the first of January, I thought we simply ought to commemorate the millennium, even if the precise date was only true for a tiny minority on this the earth. I created the
“Y2K Diary”. I started a diary. What is really astounding is the sheer scale at which I’ve managed to put together this entity: the “Y2K Diary.com” where murders are resolved
and where swindlers get stoned. I was‐ I’m‐ this “Unbearable Lightness of Being” chasing this “Great Swindle of Being”. I never pretended to make any sense. Just to portray an exit
to oblivion. To mystify what is deemed not suitable for the marketers of common literature.

Indeed what cannot be found on Google can generally be found on the ultimate encyclopaedia of gibberish, the Y2K diary. The Y2K Diary is a blue print, a bible for anything beyond the year 2000.
Over 500 stories emerged out of the diary -and some of the most extreme- one has been made into a film, an opera-murder-mystery-thriller.
