THE TIME WAS RIPE!
Becca had always been ready to eat. As a child, eager to please her mother, she had cleaned her plate, even asked for seconds. Later, it was cookies and milk, pizza and French fries, ice cream and fudge sauce. Now it was all catching up with her. Nobody cared what a good person she was. Nobody noticed how smart she was.
