Riggs; Ella Deloria, a Yankton Nakota linguist; Wilson D.
Wallis, a Canadian anthropologist; native Lakota George Bushotter; and physician James R. Walker in order to delineate clearly Sioux thought from the biases and perspectives of these observers.
