Abstract: This handbook is intended to serve as a comprehensive guide for state and local agencies administering the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in areas where migrant farmworkers are employed. All pertinent program information is brought together and compiled in this document. Topics include: characteristics of migrant farmworkers; factors hindering delivery of services to migrants; suggested techniques for delivery of services; and overview and historical review of WIC and CSFP efforts to deliver services to migrants.
