The Immortals is the story of Calli Coleman, a classically trained musician from a well-connected Baltimore family, who has no idea what's in store for her when her soldier-husband, Luke, is recalled to an infantry unit during the Iraq War. Uprooting her young family from the hometown she adores and depositing them in provincial Sackets Harbor, New York, Calli is suddenly thrust into the role of Army wife and tumbles into a complicated social hierarachy where she finds her well-heeled childhood does her more harm than good.
