About the book
This book entitled “Communication and Public Speaking “relates to overall aspects of communication and public speaking. The book has been intended to give the basic knowledge, information and education to the readers regarding different aspects of communication and public speaking. This will serve as a source book of Skill Paper/Presentation for the educational planners, administrators, students, teacher trainees and educators.
The study of public speaking began about 2500 years ago I in ancient Athens. Men were required to give speeches as part of their civic duties, which include speaking in legislative assembly and at court. Now, skills of well communication and public speaking is as an essential life skill in modern world, full of meetings, conferences and networking events. It can serve the purpose of transmitting, telling stories, motivating people to act or some combination of those. It plays a large role in the professional world -it is believed that most of the jobs involve some well form of communication and public speaking skills.
