First edition of the first series, comprising events of 1817 to Jan. 1819, appeared in Philadelphia, 1833, under title "Memoranda of a residence at the court of London," and simutaneously in London under title "Narative of a residence..." A 2d edition revised and enlarged appeared the same year both in Philadelphia and London. cf. Sabin, Bibl. amer. and preface to 3d ed.

The 2d series "comprising incidents...from 1819 to 1825" was published in 1845 in Philadelphia and London, 2d edition. London, R. Bentley, 1873.
