An edition of The Month of Saint Teresa (2022)

The Month of Saint Teresa

Written by Fr. Marin de Boylesve, S.J. in 1882 to celebrate the tercentenary of St. Teresa of Avila's entrance to heaven, this text continues to be a spiritual treasure today. Selecting quotations from her famous spiritual writings he provides for each day of October spiritual nuggets of advice and wisdom that may be prayed as a novena honouring this blessed saint, as well as proving to be a simple and efficacious text to help progress in the spiritual life any time of the year. This first ever English translation also features a biography of the author, prayers and quotations by St. Teresa not included in the original printing, in addition to prayers to St. Teresa by St. Alphonsus de Liguori and fifteen illustrations.

About the author: Fr. Marin de Boylesve is best remembered in France for spreading devotion to the Sacred Heart with his writings thereby promoting the cause for the construction of the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris.
