[117]-186) contains the text of a diary by Antonio Porlier and a preliminary study; the diary is transcribed from a ms. in the Archivo del Marqués de Bajamar (Corella, Navarra) entitled: Jornal de un viaje a Buenos Aires desde Cádiz, empezado en 3 de agosto de 1758 a bordo del navío San Ignacio de Loyola alias El Sereno.
