whereas to a treaty concluded at the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia, on the nineteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, between the United States of America and the Cherokee Nation of Indians, through their respective representatives, a supplemental article was made and concluded at the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia, on the twenty-seventh day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, by and between Nathaniel G.
