Plates produced through Blake's own process of relief etching. "Printed in late 1789 or early 1790."--The Wiliam Blake archive. This copy acquired from Blake by Thomas Dibdin no later than 1816. Bound after 1816 with Visions of the daughters of Albion, (Bentley) copy G., in straight-grained brown morocco. Acquired by Amy Lowell ca. 1900, and bequeathed by her in 1925 to Houghton Library, Harvard University. For complete provenance, see The William Blake archive and Bentley (p. 128)
