Jesús Gallardo was born on December 11, 1931 in the city of León and in 1947 he entered the National School of Plastic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Since then and to date he has had a large artistic production in painting and murals having as main theme the landscapes of the state capital.
