This essential survey presents Kwade's formative artistic work to a wider audience and gives an in-depth account of her Whitechapel Gallery commission, a 21st century astrolabe consisting of a magisterial installation of revolving electronic star charts suspended in space, accompanied by casts of fossilised bones.
