Mahlon Day's 376 Pearl St. address is also recorded in the cover imprint. "For sale by M. Day, 374 Pearl-St."--Publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of printed wrapper. According to New York city directories, Mahlon Day was located at 376 Pearl St. between 1825 and 1833; he was subsequently listed at 374 Pearl St. between 1833 and 1839.
