"Trajection began in January of 2006 and spans four sketchbooks, numbers 57-60. It takes its name, a new word I suspect, from the notion that a projection is a description of data that is projected either through the vehicle of a mathematical convention such as a grid or by using light through an inscribable translucent meaterial -- film."--Notes by the artist.

"Rives BFK gray makes up the paper and twin endpapers linit the ends. One endpaper, the inner nearest the book, is painted with ink and follows the forms of water movement. The outer papers, nearest the covers, are made up of raw earth pigment suspended in a paste matrix. When these dry, a pattern of fold lines was applied to further the notion of trajections in space. Trajections is a conventional drumleaf square back binding. The spine is exposed to reveal a carrier wave scripticular message -- it bears no relation to the title of the book. Leather is limited to the board edges and is a vehicle for more messaging."--Notes by the artist.
