María Tercero Tovar approaches photography taking into account what the blind teach us: that the role played by the non-ocular in the photographic device is decisive. This is what she notes in this book, through her documentation of the synesthetic nature of the image: the sonority, tactility, plasticity and performativity, beyond its visibility; that is, the integral corporal and cultural life of the icons. The visual world inhabits the blind, also the congenital blind, as much as it inhabits the world.
