This study, which focuses on the handling of non-Muslim characters through examples selected from the works published in the Turkish novel between 1900 and 1960, also examines the political, social and economic developments in the context of non-Muslims in the same period, thus aiming to make the meaning of literary products within the historical context. While the non-Muslim subjects of the Ottoman Empire, which have been shown to be advantageous in many areas, are placed in minority status with the proclamation of the Republic, the Treaty of Lausanne, which constitutes the legal basis for this status, becomes remarkable at this point. The study, 1923 and the period of power changes in the Republican period of the changes in the period of 1960 and the non-Muslim developments in terms of outstanding events taking into account the social events of the genre, taking into account the history of the genre, including non-Muslim characters and non-Muslim reactions about the transformation of this transformation process show that the effort.
