The Indonesian government Education Department guideline for this one semester, 2-credit subject states that CCU 'discusses the obstacles in communication between cultures and languages and how to overcome them'. 'Cross-cultural' ususally refers to recognizing the values and behaviors of cultures which are different from one's own.
