Collected works of the 3rd Tranye (i.e. the third reincarnation in the A-lags Pra-nye lineage) Khenpo Ngawang Thubten Gyatsho (Tib. Ngag-dbang-thub-btsan-rgya-mtsho; 1836-1889), a Tibetan Buddhist lama of the Gelukpa School (Tib. Dge-lugs-pa) who variously served as abbot of Shitsang (Tib. Shis-tsang), Labrang (Tib. Bla-brang), and Drepung Gomang (Sgo-mang) monasteries. Includes his biography (volume 1), writings on Gelukpa doctrines, songs of realization (mgur), the "Bodhisattva Path" or lam rim, monastic curricula (bcaʼ yig), epistolary writing (zhu ʼphrin), propitiatory offerings for local deities (yul lha) in volume 3; instructions for guru yoga focused on White Manjusri, Tara, etc., and writings on Sde-khri Rin-po-che, etc. in volume 5; verses in praise of sacred places such as Rma rgyal spom rwa, etc. in volume 6; and records of teachings (thob yig) in volume 7, etc.
