Brazil 2016), who arrived in Brazil in the late 1930s and here consolidated a successful career as a photographer. A pioneer in the advertising market, not only being a witness, but properly photography professional officer in the area, Milan was a pioneer in the use of techniques and the way to work, hired by major advertising agencies and by companies that took hold in the country. In this history of more than 60 years, also recorded various aspects of the city that adopted him as their new home, building an important visual documentation of the Rio de Janeiro, especially in the 1950s and 1960s Milan was one of the first to photograph Helo Pinheiro before the young be immortalized as the Girl from Ipanema, and followed with watchful eye and impeccable technique Rio's urban development. Photographer full time, his work for the first time presented in this book also covers industrial photography and a beautiful set that documents the construction of Brasilia.
