This is the trade edition printed from electrotype plates made from the molds of the original boxwood woodblocks.
Printer's statement from title page verso.
A deluxe edition was also issued, printed directly from the woodblocks by Aldus Printers with the limitation statement on title-page verso: "Of this special edition, 409 copies (of which 378 are for sale) were printed from the woodblocks for Jonathan Cape and Harrison Smith in May, 1930, by the Aldus Printers and bound by the J.F. Tapley Company. Each copy is signed by the author."
Original black cloth with paper label on spine and illustration mounted on front and back covers.
