The book explores a new potential future for city and highway. How can we reconcile the highway with the city of the 21st century? The book presents the results of the design and theoretical research conducted in recent years on behalf of TU Delft and the Dutch BNA. Seven multidisciplinary design teams formulate new visions for the ring roads of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
