Research that analyzes the sculptures of Latin America hero and liberator Simon Bolivar represented in heads, busts, freestanding, equestrian or seating effigies, bulk statues, in assemblage, and reliefs that are part of larger monuments. All the works were made between 1836 and 2010, some by renowned artists, especially in the 19th century, and others by anonymous hands that did not reach the academic perfection desired, in a total of 23 sculptors. The corpus of the book is comprised of 33 articles which rescued a total of 15 sculptures created in Peru and 18 in the rest of Latin America, with texts written by young college students within the Group of Studies Guanahaní of the University of San Marcos.
