I+t was compiled by a committee appointed for the purpose consisting of the Rev. John Yates, Rev. Pendlebury Houghton (ministers of the congregation) Dr. John Bostock and two other lay gentlemen. It was adopted by the Congregation of English Presbyterians, assembling in Little Carter-lane, Doctors' Commons, London.
