"... pursuant to the following call: The citizens of New York opposed to the measures and policy of the present national administration for the extension of slavery over territory embraced by the compact of the 'Missouri Compromise,' and in favor of repairing the mischiefs arising from the violation of good faith in its repeal ... are respectfully invited by the undersigned to hold a public meeting, at the Broadway Tabernacle, on Tuesday evening, 29th of April, to hear the report of the delegates from the state of New York to the Pittsburgh Convention."

Include speeches by B.F. Butler, William M. Evarts, John A. Bingham, James W. Nye, Horace Greeley, and William Curtis Noyes. Concludes with long letter of Frank P. Blair, chair of the Pittsburgh convention.
