Contains 508 printers' and booksellers' marks, emblems and monograms. No more was published, although "Partis primae finis" appears at foot of plate 50.
The plates are dated variously from 1728 to 1733.
Rare Book copy: The portrait of Roth-Scholtz (M Tüscher ad vivium deI.A. Delsenbach sculpsit, 1723; 18 x 11 cm.) and the engraved dedication (G.W. Knor fecit) are inserted before the t.-p.
Rare Book copy: "Index signium bibliopolarum et typographorum quondam collectorum editorumque a Friderico Rotscholozio" ([12] p., 35 cm.) published: Altorfii, apud L. Schupfelium, 1765, tipped in at end.
Colophon dated 1731; plates dated from 1728 to 1733.
