The King James version, translated at the proposal of James I by L. Andrewes et al., with the Geneva notes.

Without the O.T. Apocrypha.

Added engraved title page with Moses and Aaron and a view of London.

Text ends on X 4 b.

Six folded maps engraved by Jacob Savery, including a plan of Jerusalem in Dutch, dated 1648.

N.T. title page: The New Testament ... with brief Summaries and Expositions of Theod. Beza upon the hard places. Together with the Annotations of Fr. Junius upon the Revelation of S. John. The which Notes have never been till now set forth with this new translation; but are now placed in due order by J.C. [i.e. John Canne].

Text printed in double column, verse form, verse nos. indented in matching type, red rule down center of page. Title centered at top of left hand side page, chapter no. at top of right hand side page, with running heads, all between red rules. Entire printed page within red rules. Chapter summaries in italics. References in margins. Engraved initials indented over 5-9 lines at the beginning of books and bold-face type initials indented over 2 lines at the beginning of chapters.
