Signatures: pi² a-b² A-3H⁴ (with cancels usually at A-B⁴, E4, K4, L1, M3, N1, O1, O3, R1, S3, S4 (or T1), Y2, 3B1, 3F4; and less often, at C⁴, N⁴, 2C⁴, 2F⁴, 2G⁴, 2M⁴ and 3B⁴). Pi1, a blank leaf conjugate with the title page is frequently missing. Cf. Gaskell.

Title page is found in two very similar states. In one the "M" of "MDCCLVII" is slightly damaged at the top of the left-hand upright; in the other there is slight damage to the top of "R" of "Maronis" and to the bottom of the "B" of "Baskerville." Cf. Gaskell.
