Edition Notes

Imprint from colophon.

The commentary on the "Dream of Scipio" is many times longer than Cicero's text which it preserves. This treatise was the main source of Neo-Platonism in the Latin West and much admired in the Middle Ages. Several diagrams resemble the Macrobian view of the world with its division into five zones.
