Edition Notes
Each facsimile leaf shows a page of the original.
If the issues were regular, no. 1 would have appeared about Feb. 1, 1783, which may, then, be the date of the earliest printing in what is now the state of Florida. There seems to have been no printing in Florida between the last issue of this gazette (March 22, 1784) and the printing done in 1817 at Ferdinandina, on Amelia Island. Cf. introductory note.
Contains reproductions of v. 1 (no. 5, 14, 16) issued Feb. 22/Mar. 1, Aug. 26/May 3, May 10/17,1783 and "Printed by charles Wright for John Wells, jun., at the Printing -office in Treasury-lane," St. Augustine.
