Program for the Royal Command Performance on March 22, 1939, which included performances of Acts. 1 and 3 of Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping princess and Iberia by Debussey; cut in the shape of a scalloped cartouche; printed in red and black; cover embossed and with an elaborate pictorial illustration encorporating the arms of Britain and France by Rex Whistler; with Whistler's sun design on back; braided gold ties.
Ballet performed by the Vic-Wells ballet and music by the London Philharmonic Orchestra; dancers included Margot Fonteyn.
