This is a translation by William Stallenge of "Memoires et instructions pour l'establissement des meuriers, & art de faire la soye en France" by Jean-Baptiste Letellier, first printed in England in 1609 with title: Instructions for the increasing of mulberie trees, and the breeding of silke-wormes (STC 23138)
"A loving advertisement to all the ingenious gentlemen-planters in Virginia now upon the designe of silk. By V.F.", p. 19-27, 2nd count, can be attributed to Virginia Farrer. Cf. 1652 edition.
